The Maskwacis Parents Place is a valuable support program operating within the Samson Cree Nation's Integrated Family Services. The program offers a range of resources and services to parents and families across the four nations of the Maskwacis Cree. They assist at community events like the Samson Celebration Powwow and organize specialized events for families of children with disabilities, neurodivergent children, and those on the autism spectrum. They host a monthly Autism Support Group for parents and caregivers to network, share experiences, and share resources. The monthly Autism Support Group meets within the Maskwacis 4 Nations, rotating monthly.
